Updates on projects in process

  •  Address sign replacements for Isles and Wetlands

    • Review and discuss starting options from Eugene Sign & Awning

  •  Proposal to use a new logo on mailings, printed materials and website

  •  Proposal for new color palette for house colors

  •  Proposal to move reserve funds to a high yield savings account

    Irrigation Updates

    • Majority of Irrigation has been repaired

    • The extent of these repairs should not require near as much work for upcoming years.

  •  Outstanding issues

    • Praslin and Barger backflows had leaks and have been shut off.

      • Discuss the need for repairs vs. alternatives (i.e. mulching the area).

    • Root bound issues for parking strips along Jeffrey Way.

      • Discuss the need for repairs vs. alternatives (i.e. mulching the area).

    • Electrical issue on corner of Hamlet and Jeffrey Way.

    • Electrical issues on corner of Wales and Praslin (waters the entry way)

    • Replacement battery needed for zone on Wales

    • A few minor head replacements

DCR Revision Proposals

  • Revise language on Common Property

  • Profit Share for Homeowners in event of surplus

  • Jackie is proposing an amendment to the bylaws that would allow the creation of “subgroups” within the community (i.e. The Classics, The Isles). The proposals intent is to allow the Association to facilitate and collect dues from homeowners in each subgroup and to provide additional services.

  • Board will discuss final language of proposed amendment and the proposed voting process, Election Buddy.

    • Election Buddy is an electronic voting process that will aid us in accurately counting and tracking votes.

  • Implications

    • Isles Homeowners would vote on the extent of services, if any, that they would like to have provided.

  • Decrease in Association expenses, which would allow more focus on projects and improvements (sign replacements, power washing mailboxes, mulch replacement, better maintenance of common areas landscaping and tree maintenance)

  • Budget Discussion for 2025
